Rugby is over

Japan hosted the Rugby World Cup and these 6 special weeks are over. It certainly gave a boost to the inbound tourism statistics but how well did it promote the secondary destinations? I am keen to understand how much tv spectactors understood of Kamaishi, Kumamoto and their challenges? How many people started to think of visiting Japan in the years to come?

Rugby World Cup is about creating legacy and growing a rugby culture in a region, hopefully this is achieved but, for a nation, the legacy lies in promoting the country, what do you think?
